Oil in Virginia

Virginia has two small oil fields in the southwestern part of the state.

The one oil refinery in Virginia is located in Yorktown. The facility, owned by Giant Industries, can refine 62,000 barrels a day of crude oil into gasoline and diesel, as well as home heating oil and propane.
